Lüp engineered a robust, multi-zone onsite registration system designed to eliminate queues and support diverse accreditation needs.

Across two central check-in hubs and various satellite locations, Lüp staff managed live badge printing powered by high-speed printers, and integrated webcams that captured attendees’ photos on the spot. Badges were printed instantly with facial images, which allowed venue security teams to visually verify identities and crack down on badge misuse.

Attendees who arrived with digital tickets were processed quickly: once scanned, their credentials were promptly matched to a generic QR wristband using Lüp’s backend system. This wristband now held their full registration record. If someone hadn’t completed their registration, they could scan the QR code with their phone and register on the spot with the data syncing live to all entry scanners.

In total, Lüp deployed over 100 check-in and access control scanners across 80 venues, enabling real-time badge and wristband validation, entry tracking, and live badge deactivation. If someone was found to be sharing credentials, their access was cancelled and the update pushed to all scanners in seconds ensuring centralised access control across a decentralised festival footprint.

In addition, Lüp provided customised accreditation printing for staff, volunteers, media and VIPs using a mix of plastic cards, wristbands, and printed badges, each tied to different permissions and colour-coded for visual clarity.
